The hotel opened in 2002. The old building had undergone a complete reconstruction. Through a sympathy mixture of old and new, of the old Viennese architecture and modern metal and glass. A fine new building appeared in Varnsdorf / the ATRIUM. Guests come from near and far, even from abroad, drawn by its pleasant and modern atmosphere and its excellent furnishings.
Varnsdorf whit its textile and engineering industries is one of the major centres of industries in the north of Bohemia. The factories however are mainly in the suburbs and in no way spoil the visitors enjoyment of the town centre. The town lies on the Czech-German border, at the foot of the Luzh mountains. Tourists find that Varnsdorf is a convenient base for visits to other parts of the Czech republic. Prague is – 120 km(75 miles); Liberec – 45 km(28 miles); Česká Lípa– 30 km(19 miles); the beautiful CZECH-SWITZERLAND national park – 16 km(10 miles); access to the German autobahn net A4 (Bautzen) – 35 km (22 miles).
The ATRIUM is a 3-star hotel. There are 15 guest rooms (with a total of 25 beds) equipped. Whit all modern facilities – en suite WC and shower, refrigerator and telephone. At the ATRIUM we offer our guests a modern restaurant, with an international menu. In the hotel there is a sauna and solarium. Massage is also available. There is also a well equipped conference room, suitable for seminars, training and business meetings. Adjacent to the hotel is a car park, covered by CCTV and locked at nights.
